Delete your Sowdambiga Jewellers account
This page explains how to delete your account and personal data for the Sowdambiga Jewellers app (Android and iOS), published by Sowdambiga Jewellers, and for your account on sowdambigajewellers.com. You do not need the app installed to make a request.
How to request deletion
- Fill in the form on this page with the email address (and phone number, if any) you used to sign up in the app or on the website.
- Confirm by email. We send a confirmation link to that address so nobody else can delete your account. Open it within 7 days.
- We delete your data within 30 days of your confirmation and email you when it is done.

What we delete
- Your account and login, including Google sign-in linked to it
- Name, email address and phone number
- Saved billing and shipping addresses
- Wishlist, cart and saved preferences
- App notification tokens and device identifiers linked to your account
- Marketing preferences — you will stop receiving offers and rate alerts from us
What we keep, and for how long
- Invoices and order records (order number, items, amounts, GST details and the billing name and address on the invoice) are kept for 8 years, because Indian GST and income tax law require us to keep these records. They are not used for marketing and are deleted when that period ends.
- Payment references (transaction ID and status) are kept with the invoice for the same period. We never store card numbers, UPI PINs or bank passwords.
- Active savings scheme accounts or undelivered orders must be closed or completed before the account can be deleted. We will contact you to settle them first.
